AMO Dry mix for freshly baked breakfast bread rolls
Instructions
Required 1 x Packet m ix, 25 g of yeast and 6.75 dl cold water
1 Dissolve the yeast in the cold water. Add the bread mix. Knead the dough with a kitchen aid or hand mixer (using the dough hook) for approx. 5 min.
2 Cover & rest in the fridge to slow prove for a minimum of 6 hours (can be made up to 20 hours in advance.)
3 Preheat oven to 220C (fan forced 200C)
4 Use two spoons to scoop dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. – divide into 16 portions. Optional – sprinkle rolled oats over the bread rolls
5 Bake for approx. 15 -20 min.
TIP! Put a bowl with ½ cup boiling water in the oven along with the bread.
Optional - The dough can also be baked as a loaf of bread. Pour half of the dough into a greased bread mold. It should only be approx. half full as the dough continues to raise a portion during baking. Bake two loaves or one large loaf. The bread should be baked approx. 30 min. at 200C (fan forced 180C).
